I want to express my deep appreciation to the Faculty of Law of Lund University for the kind welcome and support during my recent visit earlier this year.
While at Lund, I focused on legal reasoning in marine environmental policy, especially examining the structure of decision-making processes and how we can enhance our understanding of the logic and assumptions within regulatory frameworks.
What impressed me most was the collegial atmosphere at Lund — from communal breakfasts to a culture of open dialogue, which I found to be deeply inspiring.
A special thanks to Professor Ulf Linderfalk for generously hosting me and engaging thoughtfully with my research. I also thank Ellika Sevelin, Head of Department, for her support throughout my stay.
I am also grateful to Eduardo Gill-Pedro, Olena Bokareva, Waltter Roslin, Lena Wahlberg, Laurianne Allezard, Valentin Jeutner, Yana Litinska, Britta Sjöstedt, and many more colleagues for their warm reception.
I also had the pleasure of connecting with scholars beyond Lund, including Gabriela Argüello and Niels Krabbe (Göteborgs universitet), and Tafsir Matin Johansson (World Maritime University).
It was an enriching experience, and I look forward to continued dialogue and collaboration.
As always, a big thank you to Maastricht University Faculty of Law for their support.
